Investor update from our CEO, Mathew Prior | December 2023

Hi all,

As the year draws to a close, I wanted to get in touch and share some recent good news from here at Trusted HQ. 

I am thrilled to tell you that we will soon be bringing new investors, Mayfair Equity, into our business. This exciting update comes after many weeks and months of searching for the right investor for our community. So, what does this mean? 

While our members won’t see any direct changes to the way TrustedHousesitters works, more investment means we can continue to provide an ever-improving pet sitting community - for pet parents, sitters, and pets alike. This means we can keep even more pets safe and happy at home, and create more opportunities for members to enjoy unique, authentic, and sustainable travel experiences.

A bit about our new investors

With a wealth of experience in supporting businesses just like ours, our new investors are well-positioned to help us fulfill our purpose-driven mission to become the world's most loved travel solution, by enabling a global community of pet people to reimagine travel, prioritising the happiness of animals, and reducing our environmental impact through pet caring and home-sharing. 

I speak on behalf of the whole team here at TrustedHousesitters when I say that we’re incredibly excited to head into the new year with this new milestone under our belts. This rounds off an incredible 2023, where we hit 200k members and saw member satisfaction scores hit their highest-ever levels. It also comes at a time where a recent survey revealed that 97% of members asked said that their lives had been improved thanks to TrustedHousesitters* - a true testament to the power of what we do! 

We're very much looking forward to working with Mayfair Equity - together, we will continue to invest in our platform, grow our global community, and improve our members’ experience.

I’d like to end this update by saying a huge thank you to you - our members. It’s you and our incredible global community that has helped to lead us to where we are today, and we wouldn’t have achieved any of it without you. Our community is at the heart of what we do - and that’s something that we will forever keep close to our hearts.
