To enable a global community of pet people to reimagine travel, prioritising the happiness of animals and reducing our environmental impact through pet caring and home sharing.
We’ve facilitated over 16 million nights of pet sitting, connecting thousands of pet parents and pet sitters worldwide through their mutual trust and love of animals. Operating across 140+ countries around the world, our community stands at 280,000+ members strong.
We enable pets and people to live their best possible lives: Pets stay happy at home while their pet parents are away. Whilst our members get to experience unique travel, create meaningful connections, and authentically embed themselves within the communities they visit.
As we grow our incredible community of pet people, we’re committed to doing it sustainably: without increasing our environmental impact, and driving forward positive change for the planet, people, and of course, their precious pets!
Planet
Our planet is our only home, but it’s not only ours. We share Earth with millions of other animals, many of which are already facing the impacts of climate change. For us, sustainability means finding ways to make positive and long-lasting impact across all areas of our business.
Our climate goals
Reduce
Achieve a 90% reduction in our absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2050 at the latest, getting there as quickly as we can.
Balance
Drawndown 100% of our remaining emissions each year through high-quality carbon-balancing projects.
Protect
Invest in nature to help all living things thrive on our one and only shared planet.
A more sustainable way to travel
We believe in the good in travel, but it’s also responsible for around 8-11% of global carbon emissions. Thankfully, small choices make a big difference. By choosing more responsible ways to explore the world (like TrustedHousesitters!), you can cut your travel footprint without missing out on the adventure. When you stay in someone’s home instead of a holiday let apartment or hotel, you’re helping the planet too. In fact, home sharing can slash accommodation-related carbon emissions by up to 88% per night in the UK and 85% in the US. That’s a big win for you and the planet.
Pets
Pets are happiest at home - and vets agree! We want as many pets to stay safe and happy in the comforts of their own home, surrounded by all the sights, smells, and snuggle spots they know and love.

We're a people-first business with a Trusted Team of over 100 employees, working together remotely around the world to become the world's most-loved travel solution for pet people.
