Whether you’ve got paws, claws, wings or hooves, the TrustedHousesitters community has an important message for you. So if you’re struggling to read this letter, please just nudge, paw or claw at your owner or pet sitter until they translate it for you.
While we often shower you with treats and tell you you’re a good boy or girl, it’s time we also say ‘thank you’. Because although you won’t even know it (which makes it even sweeter) you bring so much happiness to the world, and that’s more important than ever right now.
From waking us up with a wagging tail to the excitement you show for the smallest things, you help us see the special in every day. In fact, it’s one of the many reasons people like pet sitters love being around you.
And have you ever noticed how people will share a smile when they see you in the street? That’s because you have the power to bring people together. If only you could scroll through the wonderful stories of friendship that pets like you have helped our owner and sitter members form.
Pets, as the world currently faces the terrible impact of the coronavirus, we’re turning to you more than ever. You provide companionship to those in isolation, offer comforting cuddles to those finding times tough, and just a funny photo of you can lift the spirits of humans around the world.
