To whom it may concern :) I know Célestine through this platform. In September 2021 I stayed at her house in Switzerland to take care of Pep's the cat, and of the ducks. This was my first house sitting experience and it was amazing. Not only because I loved Pep's, because the ducks always made me smile, or because of the house or the location; those were all very important and I loved being there, but another big factor is because of the communication between Célestine and myself. From the beginning she was very open to me, and she warmly invited me into her home. I really believe that communication is a vital point with house sitting, especially when there are animals involved. If the communication would have been bad, if I hadn't known what was expected of me, it would have left a bad taste on this experience. But it was very much the opposite. I had a long video chat with Célestine before I left, and we had time to talk before she and her boyfriend left on their trip. From the very beginning I knew what was important to her and I truly felt welcome in her lovely home. She did her best to make sure I knew my way around, she provided a bicycle for me, she told me where all the zero-waste shops were (because she knew I found this important), she provided me with maps of the area, .. . It was truly a wonderful experience. And I really look forward to coming back someday. If I ever needed a housesitter, I wouldn't hesitate to let Célestine stay in my home. I know her to be very respectable, very kind and loving to animals. I wouldn't have any worries with her staying in my home (and that says a lot, because I value my personal space enormously). Kind regards, Emma

Why I want to house sit
I live in a house with a cat and I often need housesitters too so I know what to expect.
