Karin looked after Jeane’s pets & home

Our stay at Karin and Benji was a pure delight. Karin is such an outstanding host that you feel more in a 5-star Airbnb than in a house sitting. The house was sparkly clean. We were welcomed around a magnificent dinner and Karin had planned wonderful cakes, fruit and delicious paste for breakfast to spread on our toasts the next day. Karin had also emptied all the furniture in her bedroom and made room in the kitchen so that we could feel at home. The house is very pleasant and warm. A large bay window overlooks a breathtaking view of the lake and the village which is super cute offering a mix between beautiful houses, micro farms, nature and forest. But let's go to the dogs! To tell the truth, we were a little worried before we arrived at our destination to keep 5 dogs. But we were reassured very quickly. In the house the dogs were so calm that it was hard to imagine that they were 5. And regarding the ballads they were done without a leash and mostly with 3 dogs because Molly suffering from arthritis and Sienna very shy and quickly tired on her 3 legs preferred to stay calm. And then it was magical to see Lara and Jalu jump in the tall grass and wildflowers and Dolly walking cheerfully in front of us. Karin asked us if there was one we preferred. We would be unable to answer this question. They are all super endearing and all deeply different. Some are more accessible, but if you take the time to give equal attention to each of them you will discover hidden gems. I can only strongly recommend this site to all dog and nature lovers.
