Oana & Mariano looked after Cathy’s home

We met Oana, Mario, and their two girls through a worldschooling home swap/rent website. The family spent two weeks at our apartment this Easter. We spoke to them through Zoom before our arrival and found them to be warm and friendly people. After our conversation, Oana e-mailed us several travel tips for our trip to Romania! Really thoughtful. We spent about an hour with them when they arrived going through details about our apartment and sharing stories. We were in contact throughout their stay via. WhatsApp however there were no problems. We returned to a tidy apartment, some fresh-made pastries on the counter, and a present for our son. Lastly, and most importantly, as they have a pet of their own, I am sure they will make wonderful petsitters.
