Patria (Dogwatch Sanctuary Adoption Centre)
Bill volunteered with us here at Dogwatch, signing up in September 2019. He initially started on our afternoon shift, assisting with our dogs, meal preparation and feeding, and engaging with visitors to the Centre. He then moved to on to training alongside our dog walkers, then progressing to walking dogs himself on another shift. His manner with the dogs was always quiet and calm. He followed instructions to handle our more challenging, boisterous dogs. He was a great volunteer, getting on well with his co-workers and our staff here at Dogwatch. We are still waiting for him to be able to return to us, once the Australia/New Zealand bubble is reopened. In the meantime, we wish him good luck and stay healthy!
