Kristina Olsen is an excellent dog sitter. She has, with great success, dog sat Heidi, my shy, rescued, German Shepherd mix. Heidi is a challenge to care for, as she suffers from anxiety when separated from me, and she does not eat when worried. Kristina does lots of fun things when Heidi stays with her, including taking her on long walks and visits to the local dog park. She even successfully coaxed my dog to eat after calling to ask advice for this vexing problem. Heidi is always happy to see Kristina, who has somehow trained my dog to bark and wag her tail when she hears Kristina's bicycle bell from a distance. And Kristina is always happy to see Heidi too. I'll add that Kristina has owned many dogs in her life. I was her roommate some years ago when she brought home a young Australian Shepherd mix, Sage. Kristina trained that dog so well that Sage could be walked without a leash, always came when called, and was a wonderful social animal that enjoyed being with people and other animals - even cats! When Kristina was travelling, Sage often stayed at my house and was a great and playful guest. (Sage has since passed away after a long and happy life.)
