I had the pleasure of having Marta house-sit for me in San Francisco, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Marta was my Italian teacher here in San Francisco for several weeks. As I got to know her, I felt comfortable to entrust her as a house sitter while I was away on a vacation. Marta was responsible for looking after my home, as well as my cat, Elvis, who was on ongoing medication. She did an excellent job of ensuring that Elvis received all the attention and care he required, keeping him content and well throughout my absence. I think she even became a little smitten with him, which I loved to hear. In addition to caring for Elvis, Marta maintained my home in impeccable condition. She left the house clean, neat, and organized. She took great care in watering my many plants, both inside and in the garden. She also willingly took on the added responsibility of interacting and coordinating with contractors who needed to finish some construction work while I was away, which she handled efficiently and professionally. Throughout the entire experience, Marta was incredibly reliable, prompt in her communication, and responsive when I reached out with updates or questions. Her trustworthy and responsible nature made it easy for me to relax and enjoy my time away, knowing that both my home and my cat were in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Marta for any house-sitting or pet-sitting opportunity. She is dependable, thoughtful, and takes pride in the work she does. You can trust her completely to care for your home and pets.
