Family of 3 vegans and animal lovers

I’ve known Max for about five years now. We first met in a bustling volunteer community in India where he was charged with managing the toolshed. I was always impressed with two things: how well he kept the place in order, and how many ingenious repairs and useful creations he was able to manage despite a lack of quality tools and supplies. I’m sure that even today some of the improvements he made are still in use! Over the last two years, I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know Max’s wife, daughter, and cat here in Bali. My wife and I stayed briefly in the villa that they renovated and manage, where they did a top-notch job with the furniture and décor. We also cat-sat for them while they were away in Jakarta for a month, enjoying the jungle garden that they had cultivated and the DIY hot-tub that Max built on his own. Max, Yulia, and Rebecca returned the favor by cat-sitting for us recently, and took wonderful care of our little Kaanchu, who is only three months old and is quite a handful. They were great guests – they kept the place clean, were easy to communicate with, and Max even managed to repair our washing machine while we were away. I highly recommend hosting Max and family. If you get to meet them, you will certainly enjoy their company. If not, you will be able to rest assured that your home – and pet! – are in good hands.
