I highly recommend Alan and his wife Mary as ideal, reliable and trusted house and pet sitters. We have had them care for our rural home and several dogs over the last 15 years. As they have experience of rural life, they are well able to understand the care and responsibility in looking after and walking dogs mindful of neighbouring farmers. More recently they have looked after and exercised our two, rather high energy lurcher dogs. We've also returned to our home to find it clean and tidy - and the last time we returned to find an unexpected cooked welcome home meal too. I highly recommend Alan and his wife Mary to care for our home and our beloved dogs.

Why I want to house sit
I am looking for new travel opportunities and quiet writing/illustrating retreats away from home. My son is allergic to most pets so pet sitting gives me a chance to make new furry friends that I can wave goodbye to at the end of a stay.
