I guess I house-sat before house-sitting was a thing. I helped folks out when I was in graduate school (roughly 30 years ago). Now I'm back at it in search of solitude while I write. I've looked after cats, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep…

Gyl took care of my cats while I was away for one month and I definitely made the right decision choosing her. She gave me plenty of updates and photos while I was away. Took care of a couple of small problems that arose concerning the house (not her fault, just an old house) that could have been complicated if I'd had to do it from out of the country. Overall it was a wonderful feeling to be able to relax knowing everything was settled at home. And I came home to a clean house. Great pet/house sitter; I would use her again anytime.
