Aurore looked after Sandy’s pets & home

I've had the pleasure of not only hosting Aurore in my home for house sitting and pet sitting, but as her friend, I have also traveled with her and seen firsthand the way that she cares for other people's homes, which, to be honest, is even more thoughtful than how I do so. In my home, she has been a loving caretaker to my dog and my cat, who always felt super comfortable with her.  She's been a long time pet owner too, so she's seen just about everything you can experience with a pet and knows how to handle it. I find that there are never unwelcome surprises with Aurore: if something unexpected comes up that she needs more information about while I'm gone, she will ask; if I leave her specific instructions, they're taken seriously. When I've traveled with her, I've seen the ways she goes above and beyond to leave the rental homes we've stayed in as good, and better, than when we arrived. She cleans up spaces that most people normally leave for a cleaning crew, even taking care of small crumbs or taking the trash out though it wasn't requested. She's the kind of person who lives with empathy for others and puts out into the world the kind of respect that she likes to experience. She's a person I happily trust with my home, my pets, and my child, every time.
