I have known Michelle for more than 11 years. She and I met through work, she was the first person to greet me as I walked through the office doors for the first time and I was extremely impressed with not only her professionalism and communication as she showed me around the office and introduced me to fellow colleagues but also the ease at which she was so hospitable, I felt at home instantaneously! Over the years, I have had countless opportunities to watch Michelle in roles (both in and out of the office) where she was heavily relied on by management / event organizers for the planning and execution of various events. The successful execution of these would not be possible without Michelle’s excellent organisational skills, dependability, and great communication with relevant stakeholders. Simply put, Michelle is the person you turn to if you want the job done and done well! Our shared morals allowed our relationship to metamorphose from colleague to friend during this period. It was through this, that I recognised that Michelle has great respect for self and others. This includes animals, (her love for animals is unmatched!) as well as others’ property (anything she has borrowed has been returned in the same or better condition than she received it). Michelle keeps her surroundings in immaculate condition as cleanliness sits high on her list of standards. Finally, Michelle is the most independent person I know, she knows how to get things done with little to no help or guidance, she will figure it out one way or another. If there is there is ever a need, big or small, I know who I am going to call and I highly recommend you call her (Michelle) too!
