I witnessed Cheryl care for her beloved dog, Sammy, for 4 years that he was well, which included a very active lifestyle, and for 2 years that he needed special care. She was absolutely dedicated to ensuring he received the best choices; special vitamins, home-cooked food, and lavished the love and attention on him that enabled him to live happily for 18 months longer than the initial diagnosis. During part of that time she also cared, on a long-term basis, for friends' dogs who needed special care. After Sammy, Cheryl became a foster for dogs who were rescued from the streets and she displayed loving consistency with the training they needed to learn to live in houses with people and go on to their forever homes and families. I would gladly trust any pet, and my home, to Cheryl's care.
