Choosing your profile picture: opting for the best pet sitting images
Your profile picture is the first thing an owner will see, so this should be a clear, friendly and smiling photo of yourself, and if someone else will be house sitting with you, try to choose a pet sitter image they're also in.
First impressions are everything, so be sure to choose a pet sitter picture that captures their attention and entices them into taking a further look at your sitter profile and reviews.

Angela’s top tip: from speaking to our owner members, it’s clear that profile pictures featuring a pet really catch their attention. So, try to find a happy and welcoming pet sitting picture of yourself with a pet for your main profile picture.
Opt for lots of photos of you with pets when choosing your pet sitting images
Adding photos of yourself with pets can help you bond with owners — after all, they’ll be on the lookout for a sitter that screams ‘pet lover’, and what better way to show off your love of pets than through pictures for your profile?
These can include photos of pets you’ve previously sat for, pictures of yourself with a friend or family member’s pet, or even the type of pets you’d like to sit for. And naturally, if you've been pet sitting before, be sure to include house sitting images as part of your profile.

Include photos of you doing things you love to build the perfect profile
Are you an outdoorsy type? Or perhaps you’re a real foodie? Along with your sitter profile sections, the right photos can add bucketloads of personality to your profile, alongside your pet sitting pictures.
Show potential owners what you like to do (most definitely do not include any stock photos!) — it’ll also help them to distinguish if you’re the right kind of sitter for their pet. After all, Cooper the energetic farm dog might need more of an active, outdoorsy sitter, while Whiskey the senior moggy might be better suited to a sitter who enjoys a slower pace of life. Either way, showcase that in the pictures for your profile.
Angela’s top tip: try to view yourself through the owner's eyes, and strike a good balance between pet and personal photos — this will help owners to build up a picture of you as a sitter.
