Yellowstone has been a fan-favorite for years, but lately, it feels like everyone and their dog is watching the series. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just jumped on the cowboy wagon, there’s a good chance the show has you dreaming of Montana’s wide-open skies, rugged mountains, and remote ranches – ideally with a furry friend or two by your side.

So saddle up, here are 5 pet sits for fans of Yellowstone, cowboys, and all things western.

A large log cabin in the mountains of Montana

This cozy yet spacious home puts you right in the heart of beautiful scenery. Just a short drive from Bozeman and Big Sky, and only an hour and a half from Yellowstone National Park, it’s the ideal starting point for an adventure in the wilderness. There’s plenty to keep you busy here, from outdoor activities to the resident furry friends. That’s right, you’ll share the home with two pups who love daily walks and cuddles, plus two friendly horses and a donkey who’ll need feeding and a little TLC of their own.

Loving pet care and a reclaimed timber cabin in Jackson Hole, WY

Home to five indoor cats and a lovable dog, this rural property is tucked away in a peaceful spot near Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. Keeping the furry family happy and cared for is the main focus here, so it’s the perfect sit for true pet-lovers looking for a quiet escape. Look out for the wild visitors who regularly pass through the area, including deer, elk, bison, and even the occasional bear!

A quiet stay with Daisy in Red Lodge, Montana

This quirky two-bed home is located near downtown Red Lodge, Montana – ideal for exploring the Beartooth Mountains and Yellowstone National Park before or after your stay. The spacious yard has a small creek running through it and a hammock for relaxing in. Caring for Daisy, the sweet resident Brittany, is straightforward: feed her twice a day, let her out regularly, and give her lots of company.

Crazy Mountain sit with six lovable Labs

Stay in a comfortable home at the base of the Castle Mountains, with stunning views of the Crazy Mountains. It’s quiet, peaceful, and just far enough out – about 28 miles from White Sulphur Springs and 22 from Martinsdale – to feel like a proper escape. You’ll be looking after six Labradors, two kitties, and a small flock of chickens. The daily routine includes feeding and walking the pups, popping to the garage to feed the cats, and tending to the chickens and garden plants. When you’re not on pet duty, you can explore the nearby towns, hiking trails, and hot springs!

Four-legged friends in the foothills of the Bridger Mountains

Last but certainly not least, this Bozeman mountain home is perhaps the closest thing to Dutton Ranch in Yellowstone – minus the family feuds. The 40-acre property is set in the foothills of the Bridger Mountains, just 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman. You’ll be kept company by a couple of easygoing dogs who love joining for a wander around the property or a longer hike (if you’re up for it). There are also horses and mules, who simply need a daily check-in. With a seasonal creek, beautiful gardens, and mountain views in every direction, it’s an easy place to call home for a little while.
