Welcoming a new pup home and after a name that’ll set them up for a lifetime of success? Well if you’ve got children in your life, you’ll probably know about the popular TV series, PAW Patrol.
Revealing the antics of larger than life search and rescue dogs, the show might spark some inspiration for naming the new four-legged buddy in your life. And whether your new pooch is as courageous as Marshall, more scholarly than Tracker, or gives Chase a run for his money, maybe a PAW Patrol dog name will suit…
What is Paw Patrol?
Paw Patrol is an animated children’s television series originally from Canada, aired on Nickelodeon and the Nick Jr. It’s based around a crew of search and rescue dogs with a joint mission: to protect the people of Adventure Bay and its surrounding areas. Like with many children’s TV shows, each episode follows a plot structure, starting anew every episode. Led by a 10-year-old boy named Ryder, the pups are alerted to a new problem at the beginning of each episode. Whether they’re scampering about in the local playground or playing with their dog toys, the Paw Patrol crew are more than likely found going about their daily lives when Ryder calls in with his reports.
The pups then report to base, learn more about the emergency and make a plan of action. Each pup is then assigned a task in line with their particular set of emergency service-like skills. The dogs then ride down to the emergency site in their respective pup mobiles, never turning up empty-handed. They’re kitted out with special high-tech backpacks, or so-called ‘pup packs’ that have everything they need to carry out their important rescue work. Then at the end of each episode, Ryder congratulates the pups for their hard work. So… now you know a bit more about the show, let’s take a look at the PAW Patrol dog names.
