What is a combined membership?

Are you a pet owner with a passion for travel, meeting new people and keeping pets happy at home? We often talk about the benefits of being a sitter, or the benefits of being an owner, but the reality is many of us may fit into both of these categories. This can make deciding which membership type to go for quite tricky - but it doesn’t have to be! 

Did you know that we offer a combined membership, which includes an owner and sitter membership? With a combined membership you can experience all the joys of house sitting while benefiting from our community of sitters eager to take care of your pets where they’re happiest — at home.

Is it really unlimited?

Just as you can buy an owner or sitter membership for an annual payment, you can also get a combined membership. However, unlike sitter or owner memberships, a combined membership means you have access to unlimited pet care from trusted sitters whenever you are going away as well as the opportunity to apply for sits across the globe. 

How do I start my combined membership? 

Our combined membership plans are just a fraction more than an owner or sitter membership. To sign up, simply select a combined membership plan at the checkout. 

What if I’ve already paid for an owner or sitter membership?

You can upgrade anytime if you already have an owner or sitter membership! If you fancy upgrading to experience the benefits of being both an owner and a sitter, you can easily do this using our app or website.

To upgrade on your computer, follow these steps:

Sign in to your TrustedHousesitters account, go to your name in the top right-hand corner, and select ‘Settings’. Once there, select ‘Membership’, located on the left of the screen.

Once you’re in the membership section of your account, you will see an option to ‘Add house sitter membership’ or ‘Add home & pet owner membership’

Once you have selected which type of membership you would like to add, you will be taken to the checkout page.

Confirm your card details and click ‘Pay Now’.

You can also follow these steps to upgrade using your TrustedHousesitters app:

Log in to the TrustedHousesitters app Tap ‘Me’ in the bottom right corner. Go to ‘Settings’ on the menu, and then click ‘My Membership’.

Click on ‘Manage my membership’, and then select ‘Add House Sitter Membership’ or ‘Add Home & Pet Owner Membership’.

Confirm your card details at the checkout and then click ‘Pay Now’
